Review on ๐Ÿงถ Mekbok Knitting Organizer: Portable Knitting Yarn Storage Bag with Multiple Pockets and Compartments - Clear Plastic Tote Bag for Needles, Crochets, and Threads by Donna Armstrong

Good for short-term use.

I've never had a pocket organizer. I literally put the yarn in tote bags or large wallets that I don't use. This bag is functional. There are six steel ring holes on the top of the bag. These openings are accessible via three zippers. They have two openings in each zippered compartment. I was able to get two 7.5 oz. Skeins of yarn in each and as you can see in my picture they fit perfectly and wrap perfectly. Makes 6 skeins of 7.5 ounce yarn. I was able to fit 1 skein of 10oz in each compartment, making 30oz easy to stow. There are 6 Velcro fasteners sewn in the middle directly above the rings. These protrusions, as seen in my photos, hold the loose yarn in place. They don't actually damage the yarn, but be careful when you pull them out. My problem with this bag came when trying to open the left side pocket with velcro (when the zippers are facing you). I gently pulled on the tab and it got stuck and tore. You can see where I had to apply super glue AND tape to get it working again. The right side is fine, but since the left one tears so easily I don't try to open it, I just reach out my hand to get what I need. The inner pocket can hold a large amount of yarn. I have different sizes and weights but I'm just saying that it holds 60 ounces of yarn. At the moment it is functional and good, but I will buy a better bag.
