Problem with iMAc 2019

Didn't work with iMac 2019. No power to devices when USB-C is plugged into computer (even with AC adapter connected), although blue and red LEDs are lit. MacOS did not report that the hub was connected. Plugging the USB-A into the computer powered the devices, but I wasn't sure if the power was coming from the adapter or my iMac. (My old hub kept powering the devices whether the computer was plugged in or not.) Revain helped troubleshoot, but I ended up returning the device (and a replacement that did the same).
