This door handle was easy to install, however, we were unable to get the fingerprint reader to read any fingerprints. The materials looked nice and it seemed to be well built, but it didn't work. Install instructions could have been better. It doesn't tell you to take off a cover plate so you can access one of the two screws that hold the two halves together. Several people have written that you can't access the screw, but you can if you remove the cover plate. I returned it to Walmart for a full refund. It does fit in a normal inside door. We put it on a bedroom door and no extra holes were required to be drilled.
