Peels but works great
Just wipe the product down or wipe the blade with lube and peeling won't matter. The whole cylinder slides like a push-on, so it's pretty comfortable. I use it on jeweler's saws #5/0 and #6/0 (ultra thin) that go into a jigsaw and this thing literally extends the life of the blade 10x.
