Review on πŸ”₯ Litefury Xilinx Artix-7 FPGA M.2 Development Board by RHS Research by Amanda Engelhardt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Tiny size on PCIe with big performance

This is a wonderful development board, connected to the M2 PCIe peripheral slot on the motherboard, no external bulky development boards. For FPGA hobbyists this is great. I have this on a bare motherboard so I can easily connect to IO. All information and sample projects are on github. Xilinx PCIe driver installation is quite complicated, many searches on the internet. I installed on Centos 8 but the free Xilinx software gives you everything you need. You get great bang for your buck in a tiny footprint. I just want to warn that there will be a very steep learning curve for a beginner, but if you're willing to learn, you'll learn a lot. Successful projects. I just want to add. Who am I writing this review for? I'm a silicon chip designer and have been working with large blue chip companies on what they call "leading-edge technology" for over 36 years. I think such a product is open to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of electronics/systems/software and can be used to develop the basics of IOT (Internet of Things), AI (Artificial Intelligence) and any of your ideas. Get ready to learn and have fun
