Review on Sashco Stretch High Performance Caulking Cartridge by Brad Lovro

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Professional sealer. Saves money and headaches over time.

I'm a second generation home builder and I'm glad Revain has a large supply as I order many individual items that I need in a hurry through Prime. I see that Revain offers several Big Stretch colors at the time of writing this review. First, let me say that Sashco is a great company. They have been making quality products for many years. Their entire range of professional sealants and sealants is first class. I feel very comfortable when their products are used in my work. Nobody likes to call back, from the contractor to the client. They cost money and time. Most of my painters use professional sealers that you won't find in the big department stores, and with good reason. Most DIY sealants shrink over time. I had the molding for the crown in a project we did a few years ago to create cracks between the ceiling and the crown. It took a full year, but it was in a home that had insulation, heating/cooling, and moisture issues. I later learned that the sealant used was not a professional brand. It looked really bad seeing all those cracks and removing the putty otherwise very detailed and otherwise flawless work. I had to remove the old sealer and apply new sealer and paint. I paid triple for the interior. The first time, delete the second, and fix the third. Needless to say we came back with a great stretch. *** It might be a bit more expensive up front, but it might be a lot cheaper depending on the time and circumstances. *** Get it right the first time and do it once. This is a professional product available to consumers. You will not be disappointed. This is my first choice when conditions are extreme and results need to be guaranteed. Only five stars. Still going strong. No ringing due to cracks in sealed seams. Happy customers make me happy too.
