Review on Inkbird ITC-306T WiFi Temperature Controller - Heat Lamp Thermostat for Reptile Heat Mat Fermentation, 1200W, 10A by Shane Yay

Ordered two temperature control units in two lizard tanks. Within the first 48 hours, one of the units experienced an "internal clock error" that prevented the unit from controlling the temperature and turning on the heater, and going off an alarm in the middle of the night. The devices are connected to the app, where you can disable the alarm, but the only way to restore actual operation is to physically unplug the device and plug it back in. We thought it might be an accident and kept using the device. For the next 48 hours the same unit had the same problem, this time normally nobody was home during the work day but luckily one of us was working from home. So far the second unit has worked well so we figured it was just a fancy unit. Another 48 hours later, the second block issued the same error and again raised the alarm in the middle of the night. During the first week of use, two units had 3 separate failure cases and these units were found to be faulty and unable to properly control temperature and reliably regulate heaters. Luckily someone was home to restart the devices for every error, otherwise our critters would spend a day/night without heat in their tanks. I will never buy an inkbird product again and will definitely never trust them for the safety and comfort of my lizards.
