This is not a Knight Industries block - Chinese copy

KVF 360: I bought this block thinking I bought a Sgroi block at a great price - arrived quickly, the packaging is a 4WD, connectors and a wiring harness that suits your 4WD controller. Firstly the build is surprisingly good, the construction is metal and well made, fits perfectly. All the necessary o-rings and fasteners to allow you BOTH 4WD engagement and KEBC removal. Time will tell if the screws/shiny parts etc are rust free or "rusty Chinese" - smeared with grease to be safe. Second, there are no instructions, you have to use common sense or a youtube search to figure out what goes where. Not difficult, although the cable was slightly longer than required, requiring a large arc to be routed to allow for easy movement of the control cable. Third, IT WORKS. All that. Everything does what it should and I have 4wd/2wd on demand again. I'm postponing the final distance of the KEBC while trailering up some silly steep hills, and I'm glad that stepping on the gas pedal still gives me enough engine braking to keep me from freefalling. from the product design.
