Use these to give aluminum a matte finish. They did exactly what I wanted, but I went through them very quickly. Twice as fast as what I usually use. A part I can usually do with 8 QD buffs took 15 of them. By the time I was done I had ridden 34 of these bikes. Typically, 14 well-known brands of QD polishing pads are required for the job. But I will say that the cost effectiveness of these polishing pads is definitely worth it at less than a quarter of the cost. The bottom line is that the cost is worth the increased number of bit swaps.
