Review on Fel Pro MS98016T Intake Manifold Gasket by Dan Hansen

I installed this kit on my 5.3 with 119k on it and of course the pressure port sealing surfaces were uneven/deformed. This gasket kit solved the problem without replacing other extremely expensive parts. I liked the retaining tabs that allow the gaskets to sit properly on the heads instead of the clips that hold the original gaskets to the plenum - I had no alignment issues and the job was smooth and quick. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on inferior OEM style plastic spacers. pry with the hook - GENTLY pull the tab on each connector (you will feel a click), then on the same side of the connector with the tab, insert the hook under the bottom of the connector between the skirt and the nozzle. and CAREFULLY pull up and away from the injector - the connector will disengage without much effort. in one piece. :) I've lost count of how many of them I've had in my bay, with each plug unnecessarily and carefully slaughtered.
