I bought a 'thick' set to add to my Knitters Pride Dreamz set but decided on this complete GINGER set with shorter needles. . Due to my small hands, I've always felt that my 4.5" needles were a bit longer than I would have liked. Good decision! The half inch difference in size meant ALL to me. They are the perfect size in my hand and feel amazing! Soft, smooth, warm, with just the right tip. Not too sharp, not too blunt. This set only comes with short cables for small projects, but I can connect any of my longer cables and use them for anything; not just hats. The case is nice too and the template holder, matching pen and stitch markers are very nice additions. Before I ordered them I read that some had had trouble detaching the cable so I kept that in mind when I attached the cable to make sure both ends were fully pinned but on my 3 why gave it a 4 instead of a 5 gave stars. Luckily I caught it just before it completely came loose, so I re-tightened it and my duvet was saved. I would be mad! If anyone is researching this, I use 9mm needles with 60" Knitters Pride line. My project is a large quilt, so its weight might be a factor. I haven't used this set long enough to report other issues, but I'll update if anything negative happens. Conclusion: I can definitely recommend this set! Just check your connection from time to time.
