I absolutely LOVE these knitting needles. I have several other brands of replacement needles made of different materials. I bought these wooden travel needles as I picked up branded bamboo needles on a recent flight only to have them split on me leaving me with no needles to finish the sweater I had taken on a long flight to knit. I really like these needles. This is my first set of replacement needles and I love the quality of the needles and also the cords. The case is beautiful (and doesn't smell, which was a little alarming!) and the needles have a texture somewhere between bamboo and metal - woody but smooth! I've been using them for about three months now and I notice a few things: 1. I really don't recommend this for English style knitters. If you knit continental style, the needles will not unwind easily, but…
