This modem has worked very well for 8 months. The warranty has now expired and Netgear no longer provides support for it. After a heavy thunderstorm, I can no longer connect to the modem. It was connected to the surge protector when the power went out and I turned everything off until the power came back. However, the LAN light is not lit and my devices say there is nothing on the other side of the Cat5 cable. I don't know if anyone had similar problems with this modem; There isn't much useful information on the Netgear websites.
