Pleasure to use, great price, good study paper

As a beginner in watercolor, I tried many types of paper, which made learning difficult. I was looking for paper that was inexpensive and didn't get in the way. I've practiced this paper naturally in Lifting Color, too much water, layering and lifting after drying, etc. So far I haven't had any buildup or signs of wear on the paper and I'm very happy with its performance. . I love 100% cotton paper but only want to use it for the last try. So far this paper is holding up so well I wouldn't mind using it for framing. It works great for my type of art, i.e. animals and plants. I don't do big washes. I'll update the review if the experience changes, but I recommend trying it out. Update 3/30/20: A lesson learned by the newcomers. I finished painting and noticed pilling in a few spots. The areas where I used a regular eraser to lighten my sketch were spotted with pimples. Where I have used a kneaded eraser this has not happened. Before drawing with this paper, it is recommended to lift the graphite with an eraser.

Pros
  • surface resists scratches, abrasions and washing
Cons
  • unreliable
