Absolutely love!

I have probably four or five of these already and really like them, perfect for carrying in a small bag. I've poured quite a bit of water on it and although the sides warp a little when touched, nothing seeps through to the other side. Actually, I drew on both sides of the same sheet without realizing it, and you can't tell by just looking at one side. Paint and ink applied smoothly. Highly recommended. I've included images of three used books versus a blank book to show paper warping, an ink…

Pros
  • Heavy weight cold pressed watercolor paper made in France
Cons
  • boring packaging

Strange order - Mixed batch: 1 good pad, 2 bad pads

I ordered 3 of these - 1 was perfectly plain Canson paper which I have enjoyed using Years. The other 2 were torn off - 11 sheets in a block that should have been 12. 2 custom blocks were sealed in plastic bags; The good one was sent in a box. The paper was more like thick cardstock and thicker than regular watercolor paper. They didn't take color well either. Under normal circumstances I would have sent it back, but I was in the middle of an order and didn't have time to wait for the company…

Pros
  • 20 sheets 140lb/300 gram 9 x 12 inch acid free paper
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Pleasure to use, great price, good study paper

As a beginner in watercolor, I tried many types of paper, which made learning difficult. I was looking for paper that was inexpensive and didn't get in the way. I've practiced this paper naturally in Lifting Color, too much water, layering and lifting after drying, etc. So far I haven't had any buildup or signs of wear on the paper and I'm very happy with its performance. . I love 100% cotton paper but only want to use it for the last try. So far this paper is holding up so well I wouldn't mind

Pros
  • surface resists scratches, abrasions and washing
Cons
  • unreliable
