The material is quite strong and a little harder to pierce than my real car cover. This is a plus as it is designed to patch holes and tears. The glue sticks well, but it seems to depend on the type of coating you have. If you have full nylon with a smoother texture, it may not stick as well as some reviewers seem to have experienced. This one time application means you can't make a mistake, clean up and reapply. Is it expensive? Hmm, not sure about that because it comes with two sheets. I only wish I could get an exact color match but otherwise 5 stars.
