I had a new (12 month old) battery in my car and left the headlights on overnight. And what happens. Without a charger, I decided to order this useless junk. About 2 hours after charging, I hear a hiss and try to recognize that the battery is boiling. BOIL. Sulfuric acid is boiling high and all over my floor. SULFURIC ACID BOILS. I unplug the cord from the wall and let the battery cool down for a day. It never recovers above 10v. I put the boiled out battery back in my car and luckily the weather stays warm enough for the battery to crank the engine. hardly. The battery will lag for a few more weeks before dying completely. Now I have a new battery. This charger went in the trash. Thanks RevainBasics. Do not buy. This thing is as destructive as it is dangerous. 0/5 stars if that were possible.
