Very impressed with how it works. I'm definitely not good at installing things, but this was really easy. The instructions are pretty vague and don't show how to open it, so you'll need to look at the actual item description and picture to show how to open it. But basically you have to pull it towards you and then move it into place. Anyway, I was able to install them to protect toddlers from smart toddlers who know how to get into closets and turn doorknobs even with these protective covers. So it definitely helped when I babysat! I order an extra set for other rooms in the house and they are really good for outside doors when traveling just as a little extra protection. It is very easy to install everything you need. You need a drill or a nail and a hammer to make a small hole and then the screws are screwed in correctly and easily. It's very durable, that's a plus!
