I was surprised by the size of the lamps Much smaller than they appear in the photo! Elegant presentation and good structure. Couldn't install it yet. After studying the instructions and carefully examining the goods; I concluded that the design is for flush mount with hidden wires, which is not the case with my setup. I mount the lights to a bulkhead so I have about an inch of exposed wires but no through hole for the wires. So I have to drill into the side of the base at the risk of chipping off the nice finish etc.
