I ordered these for my 1995 F-150 after someone bled two full tanks (ouch!) . I had no problem locking the caps and unlocking the caps etc on the first try, second try, third try etc. The simple technique is not a problem. I like that both lids have the same key. You look strong enough. I just hope they keep the gas thieves at bay! Another good thing: I still have enough room to keep the stock gas cap strapped into the gas choke door. So if I loan the truck to someone and they are just too incompetent to work with the locking cap I can easily return it back to the original cap and then back to using the mounting cap once they get the truck back. Update: Caps are no longer closed. The locking mechanism is useless; However, the appearance of the "lockable" fuel cap deters thieves (for now).
