Review on Dorman 88136 Wiper Motor Pulse Board Module for Compatible Models by Andrew Holman

I've been having issues with the wipers on my 2003 S10 pickup for quite some time. For a long time, when turned off, the wipers did not fall to the lower position. I turned off the wipers a month ago and they won't go off. I had to wait for the wipers to go down and turn the key off for them to turn off. When I had to turn them on I only had one speed (high I think) and no intermittent options. At first I thought the switch was the problem. After some research I found that the wiper control module actually controls the speed and intermittent settings of the wipers. Instead of spending over $100 on an OEM module at a parts store, I went with this $16 option. Very glad I did. Installing the Dorman 88136 Wiper Motor Pulse Board Module took only 10-15 minutes. I'm so glad I no longer have to stop at the side of the road to turn off the wipers. Even if this part doesn't last very long, I can buy 7-8 pieces for the price of one in the parts store. I will update if I encounter any problems.
