Worked well with 30 year old rusty universal joints. As another reviewer mentioned, tighten it with a punch or ratchet and when you feel it hit the ground (or the kick stops spinning), grab a mini sledgehammer and hit it a few times the shoulder of the gimbal yolk, and the cap should move forward. . Just be careful as the tool will usually fall off when you do this as the pressure is released. So make sure you don't drop it on anything important. own a cap and figure out how to tap it with socket and heat. After reading this review, everyone else got off with pulling and tapping with a hammer much easier.
