It's a good thing auto repair shops are expensive, that can help point out the problem.
I used the scanner on my 2013 BMW 528i to find out why the car was roughing and to see if I had any other issues with the car. Don't like that the scanner couldn't figure out how to register a new battery for the car. The product information says it can be done, but I couldn't find any scanner information to register the battery.
