Helped me save a lot of money

This device helped me reset the driver side airbag alert on my 2015 BMW i3. This probably helped me save a lot of money. Or did I think so, if only because it started again after 2 weeks. So I restarted it and hope it stays off now. Anyway, it's really easy to use and I didn't have to read the manual beforehand. Just plug in

It's a good thing auto repair shops are expensive, that can help point out the problem.

I used the scanner on my 2013 BMW 528i to find out why the car was roughing and to see if I had any other issues with the car. Don't like that the scanner couldn't figure out how to register a new battery for the car. The product information says it can be done, but I couldn't find any scanner information to register the battery.

Easy to use. for code readers and scan tools

Bought for a friend who keeps bringing me his car to have the check engine light removed. We hooked it up to her car and I showed her how to use it to read and erase codes. She's not overly mechanical, but she found this code scanner fairly easy to use. Her last problem was an evaporator leak code and with this scanner she was able to read the code and replace the gas cap herself instead of going to a mechanic.

Useful item, suitable for diagnostic, testing and measuring tools

Now I have 2 BMW x3 and 5 series, it is very convenient, I used it in a used car park to upgrade systems to 5 to review series I just bought. worked well enough, the guy asked me to make a BMW boot for him just to see if anything was stupid. MY car was found to have multiple fuse and bulb issues that never went away and I checked the major systems and came back with good results. Saved me way more than I paid for it. Worked great on BMW E46

Looking for a cheap scanner to read gearbox and airbag codes for BMW E46 (2003 BMW 325i). This option is great. It also offers a wealth of real-time information such as fuel trim information and sensor data. Two complaints, hence 4 stars: (1) there is a small piece of plastic (?) stuck in the bottom corner of the display which is annoying and (2) the cable needs to be about 30 cm longer. Works great with my 2013 BMW X1. I got this specifically for the battery logging feature. A month ago I received a battery warning because I thought the battery needed replacing.
