Review on 🔧 MOOG K8771T High-Performance Ball Joint by Francisco Yim

This is the second Moog ball joint I've bought and I was expecting it to be pre-lubricated by the manufacturer (grease was visible when screwing in the grease fitting) . The first had no problems, but the second started making metallic noises about 6 months after installation. Adding lube eliminated the noise, but the fitting didn't accept lube until I lifted the wheel off the ground (pressure must have been released where the grease passage was blocked in the joint. The other Moog ball joint didn't have this). blocking problem. ) I like Moog's ball joint design which solves problems because it minimizes the size of the lubricator. One of my replacements was due to a torn regular size boot. I'll probably buy this again for that reason, but I'd recommend fully lubricating it before installing it.
