Works great with power converters
They work great for dropping 5v down to 3.3v I suspect the negative reviewer didn't hook them up correctly. The pinout is different from the standard 78xx-TO-220 packet LDO. From left to right on the LED and pins page, the pinout is Vin, Vout, Gnd.
