Review on 🔩 Greenlee 34403 Multi Hole Step Drill Bit by Marcel Robinson

A few years ago I bought a pair of Greenlee step drills and this time I bought two more because the drill worked so well. We have built various frames and structural supports from stainless steel, universal braces, rebar, aluminum and cast iron. Once the pilot hole is drilled, this step drill cuts through it almost like butter. The first 1/2 inch step drill probably lasted more than a few thousand passes before its cutting edge dulled. Because the cutting edge is so sharp and hard, the new drill takes some getting used to. The hole may get bigger than expected. It's best to use it on a drill press of a specific depth if possible. Highly recommend this drill.
