I bought this lock to replace the same locks in my house. When I read that you can recode this lock yourself, I thought it would be difficult. I made a mistake and was able to match all the other doors in 5 minutes. Save yourself the key service or do you have to deal with different keys that look the same. Good product. Ty had an issue with the loose set screw holding the outside handle in place. Called Kwikset support and their service was exceptional! They asked a few questions and found that the lock needed replacing. They sent me a new lock free of charge as part of their lifetime guarantee. Very easy process and well trained representative who handled the call.
