I tried these 1/2" collet on my Craftsman 37595 router after reading a review on a UK site that said it was compatible with some Craftsmans models. I have found that although screwed in properly, it cannot securely tighten a half-inch cutter shank. Short bursts of force that only brought the cutter to partial speed created a vibration, which caused the drill bit to come loose from the chuck. No amount of tightening force would result in a firm hold of the bit. As this cartridge was listed as a replacement for Bosch 2610906284 I tried one of the following. Bosch pressed firmly and did not vibrate at full speed.For the Craftsman model above, I recommend skipping the Big Horn collet and the aforementioned Bosch-Te il try. Since Sears has sold out of the Craftsman line of tools (and most of the parts that were previously available through Sears Parts Direct), I think we should be able to find the parts and accessories we need on our own.
