Review on Chemical Guys HOL70016 Cleaning Fluid_Ounces by Jim Shirodkar

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great when you do that.

Tried several different possibilities (including instructions) and then figured it out. First use a basic degreaser (Purple Power, Super Clean) to scrub the mat to get a clean surface. I know it says it will clean them, but that's not what this product excels at - it doesn't clean and repair in one step. The other two products are cheaper anyway and can be diluted up to 10:1 which is a lot cheaper. Clean the mats, then let them dry or use a blower to dry. Lay the mats on edge and start at the top of the mat, soaking the mat from top to bottom to take advantage of the drain. If the mat is damp, leave it and drain any excess water that has dripped onto the bottom of the mat. Let dry. When it dries (I just leave it overnight or do it at the customer's first while I detail the rest of the car) the mats look brand new. Dark black. satin finish Not slippery. No smudging. Perfect every time. Do this and you will love it. Otherwise it ends up in the garbage. fenders too. Some thick rubber. Hope that helps. Hey chemists guys, if you're reading this don't be afraid to send me some free stuff or your degreaser so I can test it just to get your stuff working. Haha! Many Thanks.
