I have been a weather forecaster for all my previous vehicles and while they are the best way to protect your floor mats they cost a lot of money. This Kia Soul is my commuter car and while it's very "nice" I don't want to invest a lot of money in it. I want something that will keep my mats clean and keep dirt/water out without breaking the $200 price limit. These rugs cost a lot more than I expected. They're definitely plastic and not Weather Tech's thick rubber, but it's also $50 less for a front and rear set. I love that they have little handles on the back to keep them in place. I love how deep they are to sidewall level to keep dirt off my feet. Very well done. I have no idea how long they will last so I will update this review if they ever show signs of failure. I can also say that I got a couple of mats from Weather Tech (I buy direct from their website) and a couple of mats that felt like paper thin to me, but they held up with my type of use. Update 6/2020 Almost a year old. later and these rugs still look great and protected my rugs perfectly! Worth every penny. I've added two photos showing how they currently look.
