The filter is worse than the old one
The manufacturer of our system recommends changing the membrane every 2-3 years so I ordered one last year and there are enough filters to last this year switch. I thought it was made in the USA and not the cheapest so it must be good. The TDS meter showed the water was 18ppm with the old filter and after replacing all the filters it was 52ppm! I compared the old and new filters and the new one was identical in size and installed everything as instructed. I don't know why it happened but I'm not happy because it's too late to go back.
