Instructions are on the bottle, simply lift the main label - see pictures or read below. Not at all :) Descaling instructions: You should descale your coffee machine about every 200 coffees (or about every six months if you use it every day). Only use the descaler supplied. Follow these steps to remove scale: 1. Fill the tank with 34 ounces (1 liter) of water; 2. Pour the contents of the supplied bottle of descaler (8.4 fl oz/250 ml) into the tank. For subsequent descaling processes, a descaling solution can be purchased from authorized service points.3. Make sure the filter holder is not attached and place a container under the boiler outlet.4. Press the ON/OFF button (Fig.3) and wait until the OK indicator lights up.5. Press the coffee button, empty the tank to 1/4 and turn the steam knob from time to time so that some solution comes out. Then interrupt the process by pressing the coffee button again and leave the solution to work for about 5 minutes.6. Repeat step 5 3 more times or until the tank is completely empty.7. To remove mortar residue and limescale, rinse the water tank well, fill it with clean water and insert it into the housing. Press the coffee button and turn on the machine until the water tank is completely empty; 8. Press the coffee button again and repeat the last operation. Damage to the espresso machine caused by calcification is not covered by the guarantee if decalcification is not carried out regularly as described above.
