Review on 🔵 Blue Ox BX1126 Base Plate: Sleek, Dependable Black Design by Brad Blake

I have a JKU 2015 installed secondary bumper with winch. Blue Ox makes two JKU Flat Tow Baseplates. 1126 and 1134. 1134 is supposed to fit a few aftermarket bumpers but since my JKU already had a front hitch receiver installed with lots of clearance between it and my bumper I figured 1126 should fit. Of course I removed the curt from the hitch receiver and installed the 1126 with no problem. The instructions are simple and recommend watching a few YouTube videos for the installation. Drilling the frame was the hardest part, but if you have a good drill with sharp new bits you won't have a problem. I didn't have to remove the bumper, jack up the car, or remove the tires. Once you have the plate aligned front to back, simply use the bottom screws to hold it in place and attach the rest of the bar to the jeep frame while you drill. Start with a pilot hole and then slowly drill it. Easy installation for anyone with a basic knowledge of hand tools.
