First off works well! Used it to repurpose an older G2 plastic body Surefire that was an incandescent originally.First remove the large OD spring, drops right in. Make sure you didn't loosen the brass body from the reflector, I did turning the spring off.Second, there is an discernable red glow, because it throws a wonderful beam and secondary flood when viewed through Gen1Will be checking out with a buddies Gen3.
