Review on πŸš€ Enhanced Performance with the Volant 152536 PowerCore Cool Air Intake by Peter Boisvert

Gave my aging Silverado the kick in the butt he needed

Wow. This consumption exceeded even my high expectations. In earnest. Installation is easy, but visit the Volant website for detailed instructions and color pictures. The instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired. Be very, VERY careful with your MAF; Don't drop it, hit it, don't push it, or push it. They're quite delicate, so handle them with care, like an egg or something else fragile. The cap is plastic, but that's cool because if I wanted that stupid metal on my intake in the engine bay to heat up and warm the intake air, I'd go with a K&N. I still have my stock Cr@p exhaust, but now it sounds very different with this CAI. Sounds really good, honestly. I can't wait to add Magnaflow to the mix. Tip: Follow step 1 of the instructions and disconnect the battery. If you think that's too much trouble, you'll get a check engine light, dumbass. Disconnecting the battery allows the computer to restart and account for the increased amount of air being fed to the engine. I am very happy with this approach. Installed on NNBS Silverado 1500 5.3L 2007.5 MY.
