I'm not sure what your idea of a super-strong magnet is, but it certainly doesn't match my idea. The fridge magnet is stronger than this thing. I attached it to the inner center section of my steel bumper and drove around the block. I checked the key holder and it moved to the right side of my bumper. I believe if you hit a good match you will lose your key and housekeeper. I removed the magnet and replaced it with an earth magnet and now it holds. Unfortunately, I could have made my own key holder from the start for a lot less than what I paid for this thing alone, not to mention the added expense of replacing a useless magnet.
