It would be great if the magnet stuck to the box. It falls off where I put it every few days and I just push the magnet back as far as I can. Dirt on the magnet means I can't get the superglue to work either. I'm using this as a temporary fix until I find something else, and luckily my situation doesn't pose a major safety concern. The magnet isn't very strong, but where I need it, it does the trick. if the magnet had stuck to the box, that is!

Bought thinking I could use it as a backup to hide my car key stuck to my car. Does not happen. Firstly, it's so short that my key doesn't fit in the box, and secondly, the magnet is so weak I would never trust myself to put a key in it and stick it anywhere on my car. DO NOT buy this if that is your intention! The only thing worth using it for is hiding the key to the house somewhere outside. The description says "Super Strong" magnet. Complete lie!

I'm not sure what your idea of a super-strong magnet is, but it certainly doesn't match my idea. The fridge magnet is stronger than this thing. I attached it to the inner center section of my steel bumper and drove around the block. I checked the key holder and it moved to the right side of my bumper. I believe if you hit a good match you will lose your key and housekeeper. I removed the magnet and replaced it with an earth magnet and now it holds. Unfortunately, I could have made my own key…
