I have two monitors that I wanted to connect to my 2019 MacBook Pro to work from home. But only one adapter was provided by my company. I couldn't justify paying $80 for a basic Apple-branded USB-C HDMI adapter. This less expensive adapter works perfectly. Corresponds to the Apple adapter functionality for my use on my UHD monitors. Sometimes it can feel warm. But I believe it will last for many years.
