Review on ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Filtrete Allergen Defense: Ensuring Uncompromised Airflow Filtration by Jimmy Bores

Revainrating 4 out of 5

high-quality replacement filter

After Sandy, one of the things my parents needed was a new stove. The new cooker is a Goodman residential model, which is a good return. I understand the mixed reviews but my contractor has installed Goodman ovens many times and has no problem with newer production ovens. In any case, because of pets, the filter is replaced every season, but who knows what will still work after cleaning Sandy. He recommended these filters. The Filtrete 1000 MPR Micro Allergen Reduction Filter electrostatically captures dust, pollen, dust mite residue, lint, mold spores, pet hair, smoke, smog and bacteria in the air. The oven seems to like it and airflow from the vents seems unimpeded, so we're happy with that. The frame is made from a decent cardboard stock which keeps it fairly rigid and glides well. Some filters in the past have bent or bent when I was half installed. Local stores didn't have the size we wanted so I ordered them from Revain, they had 6 packs. Brilliant! It might be cheaper at the local store for just a few dollars a filter or the same price, but then again for some reason I had trouble finding this size. Maybe everyone else had the same size oven or sand filter. Anyway, I'm generally happy with Filtrete filters over some generics. Generics are going to have very, very papery material, which makes me worry about effectiveness and even fire hazard in that regard. The durable blue fiber pleats reduced flow even after trying them once in an old oven, so I don't think I'll ever go back to these guys. Since I bought 6 packs the price breakdown was around $12 each but with free shipping. They could be the same in store or a dollar cheaper but with 7% sales tax and still out of stock. I'm happy with that.
