Beastly Ratchet on sale, great buy

This 17" ratchet has 36 teeth and an 8 degree angle. It has a subtle non-reflective satin nickel finish. The handle has detailed knurling for greasy hands. This pro ratchet has NO quick release (okay, makes the ratchet stronger) and has a closed 1/8" backplate (okay, the anvil doesn't bend or skip teeth). I opened up the ratchet (Torx 15) and it had a lot of grease in it. I cleaned it to dry and then re-lubricated it with Super Lube. If the number of teeth is larger, use oil or even silicone spray. I have pictures of my favorite lubes above. This ratchet has its place. No need to use one. I've enjoyed using it for the past few days to pry rusty bolts down to 1 and 1/2 inch. Compared to my M18 Electric Strike, it's almost faster to use this ratchet to get into those hard-to-reach places. It's a good deal at this price point and I know with a 3ft crook it'll be a treat at the dump. The OEM gearing (looks like a bat icon) is terrible compared to tiny modern 100 position double pawls locking a high tech ratchet from a big seller. See photos compared to more modern 100 teeth. Yes, more teeth = shorter arc span and faster job turnaround. 36 teeth, stronger and faster on rusty bolts when impact access isn't available. This ratchet feels much stronger than any high tooth ratchet and I have several 1/2" truck ratchets. In my humble opinion this is an exact copy of the Williams product. Patents are expiring and we as consumers are winning. I have this for bought my nephew. and I'm loaning it back. The conversion kit is $13 so who cares if the mechanism breaks. I've used at least 300 feet of force pulling the tractor's suspension bolts. It was a 3- Foot arch used. Very little flex. Excuse me spending money equivalent to $200 on tool cart ratchets. Not tool lovers, this should be a first purchase before a 1/2" stun (M18 average torque about $275 with battery) .
