Review on Krups 452-7B ProAroma 12 Plus Coffeemaker, White - Limited Availability, DISCONTINUED by Ashwin Chauhan

We received this coffee maker as a wedding present. It worked great and made great coffee for two years. Then suddenly the digital display went out and we could only turn it on every now and then. Everything seems to be fine with the coffee-making function, but something is wrong with the electronics. We took it to the repair shop and they said it was a thermostat issue and said they just replaced the thermostat on 5 other Krups coffee makers. However, this did not solve the problem - the digital display immediately went out again. Now we're going to buy a coffee maker with fewer frills so we can expect a longer lifespan. Just wanted to warn other buyers.
