My 2 complaints about this USB SDR. Firstly the software is not included, you have to search for it on different websites to find it and once you get it you have to follow a few tricks to install the right driver. To sum it up, it takes a lot of tricks to get this working with SharpSDR and how did we know we needed SharpSDR? Another trick to find out. Another important point is that antennas are not true monopoles. They have no ground layer and the magnetic base is electrically connected to the monopole element. So you really have no choice but to cut off the base, split the wire and make your own half wave dipoles instead of trying to use their little monopole.
