As we live during such tumultuous times it has been important that my church stays busy communicating about ministry opportunities. It's helped us create deeper relationships with existing donors as well as finding new ones - many first timers! I also love how it allows me to have virtual small group meetings where we can share resources or just hang out together. All the features are great but when someone mentions an issue (i'm assuming they're human) there are not always solutions provided for certain issues. That being said, if its something common it probably won't be addressed so do an internet search until someone answers it from another user who knows better than I. We've recently started including other ministries into our platform through a partnership with another organization. This has allowed greater accessibility to those attending services at non-traditional locations outside of town. Another benefit was also realized since we were able to provide updates quickly to our participants via social media channels to keep up with ministry events occurring throughout the service itself. The best thing about Text in Church is that it does automate a lot of the work. You can set it up to send out messages at various times and it will do it for you. I haven't found anything I dislike about this software. It's easy to use and it does what it is supposed to do. The only thing I dislike is that you cannot send out mass messages from your computer like you can with some other software. I use it to send out messages about upcoming events and it does that for me.
