Review on Sovol All-Metal Extruder Mainboard Touchscreen by William Mathis

I have had this printer for about 72 hours now. The print quality of the printer is excellent. The prints were dense and smooth. It took a little while to set up the Z stop, but everything was great after that. Four star rating only because after connecting this printer to Octopi and using it for 3 days the firmware is broken. The LCD got stuck on the loading screen and wouldn't move any further. Luckily I'm an engineer and I'm adamant about it. Failed to load firmware from SD card or Cura even after installing Creality 2.2 drivers. It took time to get xloader and firmware sideloading. I also updated the LCD firmware (make sure your SD card is formatted correctly). I know I used 3rd party hardware to run this printer but if it comes with USB printing capability it should work. I think I will print directly from SD.
