Recommend fixing high beam problem on GM trucks
Everything about the electronic and mechanical switch works perfectly. If your high beams come on when you turn on your turn signals, that will likely solve your problem, as it did on a 2006 Silverado 1500. The bar on the cruise control is sharp-edged and needs to be sanded down a bit. Installation is tricky unless you use a steering wheel puller, but it can be lowered without removal using a 1/4 spanner and a T-25 sprocket to remove and replace the bottom bolt. All aspects of the switch work as expected.
