Device returned defective

Test drive after installation. The switch is not aborted after left turns. About half the time the switch wasn't fixed in the right turn position. Everything else worked, but it's the turn signal switch, not everything else. Sent this switch back and got a more expensive Chinese switch.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Defects present

No more high beam if I signal correctly.

My multifunction switch on my SUV was worn out and every time I gave the right signal it blew up the car in front of me with intense high beam. It was very awkward. I installed it and it clicks nice and hard and I no longer bother people on the street at night.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Repair

Test at night is better

My original light control switch, when I turn the turn signal to the right at the same time as the high beam, now with this new one all lights work, including the high beam. I recommend you buy it. Once you've made the installation, test them at night to make sure everything is working, and even more so if you've set the light switch to automatic so they turn on when it detects darkness. .

Pros
  • Constant test results

Waste of money on body and trim

Didn't even last a week. Just spend the money and get the job done once. I think flashing high beams would be better than spending money on cheap materials. Easy installation doesn't matter. The product has no value as it breaks almost immediately. Removing a broken part is never easy as you feel like an idiot for believing it would work. And it doesn't matter how the installation is. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Update available

Recommend fixing high beam problem on GM trucks

Everything about the electronic and mechanical switch works perfectly. If your high beams come on when you turn on your turn signals, that will likely solve your problem, as it did on a 2006 Silverado 1500. The bar on the cruise control is sharp-edged and needs to be sanded down a bit. Installation is tricky unless you use a steering wheel puller, but it can be lowered without removal using a 1/4 spanner and a T-25 sprocket to remove and replace the bottom bolt. All aspects of the switch work…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
