My 7 year old son has thick, curly hair that falls just below his shoulders. Combing your hair after showering can be a staging. Oh spectacle. So we've always tried to use a specific brand of comb that makes the job easier. Unfortunately, these combs lose their little protrusions on the teeth and have to be thrown away. We ordered these replacement combs because the photo shows the exact same comb. It's not like this. The ones we have don't have those little protrusions, which is good. The combs that have arrived do the job just as well as the ones pictured but don't need to be discarded due to missing bristles. If you have a serious problem with tangles or are just a cranky kid, buy them!
