Review on Mr Heater F232017 Indoor Safe Portable by Michael Eldridge

I have been using Mr Heater gas heaters for a long time and have always been happy with them. I got this heater as an upgrade to my very old model MH #F242300, both for the added convenience of self-lighting outside and in the garage, and for something safer indoors in an emergency if the power goes out. However, I am disappointed with the performance. The low setting is almost useless as it constantly burns out. A high setting is more reliable, but also more likely to burn out for no apparent reason. This pissed me off so much I went back to my ten year old heater which has served me very, very well and puts out way more heat on the lowest temp than this buddy heater on the highest setting. Also, sometimes it won't light up at all when it's very cold outside (± 30°F or below). How useless is that for a heater?
