Review on Delphi FG1222 Fuel Module: Enhanced Efficiency and Performance by Chris Lemm

I bought this module and tank cleaning kit for my 2004 Jeep Liberty with 230,000 miles on the original module. Delphi is a well-respected name and I didn't want to risk getting stuck somewhere for another manufacturer's fuel pump. The exchange was pretty easy. The work took several hours. The new module was physically similar to the OEM except for the newly added fuel pressure regulator which is a nice change. I had to replace the old fuel level lever and wiring harness because the vehicle-side wiring connections on this module were different, but it was an easy change and required no tools, cutting, or splicing (module-side connections are identical). Not sure what the 1 star rating says - there were no clamp connectors. Fit all used standard quick couplers and fit very securely, tighter than OEM. Best of all, fuel economy has improved! Possibly due to a new clean filter.
